Upang maitaguyod ang pag-unlad ng pananaliksik at edukasyon, at pasiglahin ang pagpapalitan, ang Pambansang Museo at ang University Museum ng Unibersidad ng Tokyo (UMUT) ay kasalukuyang inoorganisa ang eksibisyong Anthropometria ng Mobilemuseum ng Unibersidad ng Tokyo, sa pagtatangkilik ng parehong institusyon.
Sama-samang itinalaga ng UMUT ang anim na milyong specimen na pang-akademya na nakaimbak sa kampus ng unibersidad bilang “Koleksyon ng Unibersidad ng Tokyo,” at palaging ginagamit sa pagsasaayos ng mga espesyal na eksibisyon. Hindi lamang ipinakikita ng mga eksibisyon sa publiko ang mga pang-akademikong resulta ng mga isinusulong at pangdalubhasang pananaliksik, inuudyok din ng mga ito ang mga manunuod na ikatuwa sa pagtingin at pag-alam sa loob ng pinagsanib na balangkas ng “Sining at Agham,” pangibabawan ang tradisyunal na pagkakahating pang-akademya na mula sa pagsulong at pagsasadalubhasa ng bawat disiplina.
Ang kasalukuyang eksibisyon ay unang inorganisa noong Oktubre 2010 sa Tokyo, bago ipinakita sa ilang pinalaking bersyon ng Mobilemuseum sa Taiwan at Pransya. Pinamagatang “Anthropometria,” tapulan nito ang matematikal na sukat ng katawan ng tao sa pagbubuklod ng magkaibang konsepto ng Moda at Agham. Sa pagsasanib ng matematika na pinamumunuan ng mga konseptong abstract, at disenyo ng fashion na suportado ng artisanal na pamamaraan, ipinaliliwanag nito sa bagong paraan ng pagtingin ng ugnayan ng suliranin ng pag-unawa kung paano ang katawan ng tao, anyo at paggalaw ay dumadaloy sa pagitan ng espasyong dalawahang dimensiyon at tatluhang dimensiyon.
Samantalang matapat na inaasahan na mapahalagahan ng mga Filipino ang eksperimental na pagsisikap na ito, nais naming ipahayag ang aming lubos na pasasalamat sa lahat n gaming katuwang sa Pilipinas at sa bansang Hapon.

In order to promote the development of research and education as well as to encourage mutual exchange, the National Museum and the University Museum, the University of Tokyo (UMUT), are presently organizing the University of Tokyo Mobilemuseum exhibition “Anthropometria” under the auspices of both institutions.
The UMUT has collectively designated the six million academic specimens stored at the university campus as “The University of Tokyo Collection,” and has been regularly organizing special exhibitions. Not only to these exhibitions present to the public the academic results of advanced and specialized research, but they also incite visitors to take pleasure in seeing and knowing within the transdisciplinary framework of “Art & Science,” transcending the traditional academic partitions resulting from the development and specialization of each discipline.
The present exhibition was first organized in October 2010 in Tokyo, before being shown in various expanded Mobilemuseum versions in Taiwan and France. Entitled “Anthropometria,” it focuses on the mathematical measure of the human body by merging the distant realms of Mode and Science. Through the fusion of mathematical science governed by abstract concepts and fashion design supported by artisanal techniques, it sheds light on a new way of seeing things, in relationship with the problem of apprehending how human bodies, forms and movements come and go between two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces.
