「鳥のビオソフィア――山階コレクションへの誘い」展 開催のおしらせ
謹啓 新春の候、皆様には益々ご清祥のこととお慶び申し上げます。
平素より東京大学総合研究博物館の活動に対し、格別なるご高配を賜り、心より御礼申し上げます。
わたくしども総合研究博物館は、これまで財団法人山階鳥類研究所とさまざまな共同研究を進めてまいりました。長期に亘り両機関に蓄積されてきた学術標本の再評価を促し、それらを基にした多面的な先端研究を創出するための共同研究セミナー「生き物文化誌」研究会が実現し、以来、様々な分野に跨る研究者のご参加を頂きつつ、活動を続けて参りました。このたび、上記研究プログラムの一年間にわたる協働の成果の一端を、東京大学創立130周年記念特別展示「鳥のビオソフィア――山階コレクションへの誘い」として皆様にご覧頂きたく、展覧会を下記の要領にて開催する運びとなりました。
つきましては、マスコミ各位ならびに学内外関係各位にその旨をお伝えするとともに、今後よりいっそうの御指導、御鞭撻を賜りますよう、ここに謹んでお願い申し上げる次第です。

Special exhibition celebrating the 130th anniversary of the University of Tokyo
"The Biosophia of Birds: an invitation to the Yamashina Collection"

We appreciate your continuous support for the activities of the University Museum, the University of Tokyo.
The University Museum and the Yamashina Institute for Ornithology have had collaborative research projects so far. The research project "Biosophia Studies" between the Institute and the University Museum has been realized in order to reconfirm the significance of academic specimens. Some results of the collaborative work will be displayed in a special exhibition celebrating the 130th anniversary of the University of Tokyo, "The Biosophia of Birds: an invitation to the Yamashina Collection", which will take place as informed below.
