いつも流れている音は、西伊豆六月の波の音から。
西伊豆 田子の波 6月、梅雨もまださめやらぬこの時分、レジャーシーズンではありませんが、サウンドスケープとしては楽しめる時期です。一日の天気は変わりやすく、雨、風、そして快晴、変化にとんだ波の音を楽しめます。
Waves in Tago, Nishiizu June, the rainy season, is not yet the season for leisure activities, but it is a good time to enjoy soundscapes. The weather changes throughout the day, from raining to windy to clear, allowing you to enjoy the ever-changing sound of the waves.

夕刻5時のおつとめの音。東京タワーのふもとに位置する
増上寺は、江戸を切り開いた徳川家の菩提寺で、変わらぬ鐘楼
の音をおとどけして約600 年、江戸・東京の安寧を祈り、守り
続けてきました。

東京大学小石川植物園
東京というコンクリートジャングルの中にも、緑豊かな植物園があります。植物学教室の職員であった平瀬作五郎によって、世界ではじめてイチョウの精子が発見され、イチョウには雄株と雌株があることがわかりました。

龍宝山大徳寺 鐘楼
京都市紫野にある大徳寺は、約700 年の歴史をもち、京都でも有数の禅宗寺院です。茶の湯といえば大徳寺。わび茶の創始者とされる珠光が大徳寺で修行をしていた時に茶禅一味の境地をひらき、その流れがやがて千利休で大成します。

札幌市郊外にある国立すずらん公園は、札幌という大都市の近郊にありながら、北海道の雄大な自然を楽しめる憩いの場となっています。三つの大きな滝があり、その一つが鱒見の滝です。

京都の大晦日の街の音
京都はお寺の多いまちです。大晦日は京都中のお寺が除夜の鐘をつき、その音が、京都の北部に位置する小高い船岡山へ集まってきます。船岡山は、南に広がる京都の街が一望でき、平安京はここから測量を始めたのではないかといわれます。

Bell Tower of Zōjō-ji Temple
5:00p.m. service at Bell Tower. The Zōjō-ji Temple,
located at the foot of Tokyo Tower, is the family temple of the
Tokugawa clan, who founded Edo. For 600 years, the bell tower has
continued to ring like this, praying for and protecting the peace of Edo
and Tokyo.

Koishikawa Botanical Garden,

Even in the concrete jungle of Tokyo, there is a lush botanical garden. The first discovery of ginkgo sperm was made by HIRASE Sakugorō, a member of the Department of Botany; it was found that ginkgo has both male and female plants.

The sound that fills the Tokyo sky was recorded on the roof of the top
deck (260 meters above ground). From this height where there is
nothing to block it, you can appreciate the full range of sounds that
come together from a distance. It’s like a symphony of sounds that you
can’t hear from the ground. |

Bell Tower of Daitoku-ji Temple
Also known as Mt. Ryūhō-zan, Daitoku-ji Temple, located in Murasakino, Kyoto
City, has a history of 700 years and is one of the most prominent Zen
temples in Kyoto. It is known for its tea ceremony. While training at
Daitoku-ji Temple, Jukō, the founder of a style of tea ceremony called
wabicha, opened a new window on the tea ceremony by stating that
the Way of Tea and the Way of Zen are the same. This trend was
eventually developed into a great art form by the famous tea master,
Sen-no-Rikyū.

The city on New Year's Eve in Kyoto
There are many temples in Kyoto. On New Year's Eve, temples throughout Kyoto ring their bells to welcome in the New Year; the sound of the bells converges at Funaoka-yama, a small hill in the northern part of Kyoto. Funaoka-yama offers a panoramic view of the city of Kyoto to the south, and is believed to have been used as a reference point for surveying when building the Heiankyo Capital the beginning of Kyoto.

Steam Locomotive Yamaguchi Train
Running on the JR Yamaguchi Line, the train makes a round trip from
Shin-Yamaguchi Station to Tsuwano in Shimane Prefecture. Modern
features like power lines and traffic lights along the route have been
removed, preserving the rural landscape as it was when steam
locomotives were still in service.
